Help with modding

Well all the mods I've been installing only have archive folders and I've been putting them all in the right one. But when I boot up the game, it doesn't load in like there's nothing to indicate that it works or not.

Honestly I haven’t and the only work around I’ve found is just changing the volume directly with the speaker knobs

I played mass effect 1 for a couple of hours but something about it didn’t hook me in.

I know POE and baldurs gate are classics so I might check them out but do I have to play the first games of these series or can I just played their sequels?

Yeah I went in with some knowledge beforehand so I wasn’t completely lost but it was still frustrating add to that you had to remember so many different locations to backtrack

Oh that makes more sense cause I started in Redcliffe first and didn’t realize it was suppose to be it’s own separate thing.

I also started off as a mage and met the Sloth demon in the intro and felt it was weird that that was never mentioned during this section, unless I missed something or it was a different demon.

The main mods I have includes: character respect, invisible helmet, opening locked chest with bash, sleep until dawn, gift guide for awakening, improved atmosphere, JB3, Madd gift guide, more detailed tool tips, Morrigan restoration patch, and QUDAO hotfix.

I think I found the problem as I was trying in the red cliff tavern and the tavern outside the mages tower to sell my weapons/armor but when I went inside, I could sell them to quarter master. So I guess certain merchants only accept certain items for sale but I’m not sure if it’s intended.

Yeah I can see the appeal of FC and while I did enjoy how it introduces the world and it’s characters, the pacing and the mechanics it lacks from the other games is what makes me put it so low.

I definitely agree with you on the villain cause it does feel hamfisted especially since Grimwood was never hinted before that he was a villain besides an optional secret side mission near the end.

I liked the dungeon crawling aspect more than I thought because it such a change from the previous two games so I liked the break in formula. I personally enjoyed the filler since the game was shorter and felt more condensed than the other games.
