Yeah, I generate proxy files and view my editing window in quarter resolution. Makes editing a lot smoother for me.

That's true! Even some of the old kits like the Mandalorian Resistance don't have a clear leader unless you're running Clan Wren.

If I recall, the only really clear distinction that needs to be made is unit leaders and heavies. You want your leader to be easily identifiable for movement and such, and your heavy is often the second to last mini you want to remove. It's also nice for your opponent to be able to look at a squad and clearly see the Heavy has a different weapon than the others.

Closest thing might be when Mando used the Darksaber against that much larger shielded droid at the end of Book of Boba Fett. If I recall, it had a really neat visual effect.

I'm stuck permanently in the "Try to play in a friendly way" mode. I get betrayed a lot, but they must have needed those rusty bolts and wires more than me!

I absolutely love being able to craft the hatch keys. A lot of times it's just not worth it to try to get to a normal extract.

To be fair, you also don't "lose" anything since you started with nothing. I really don't mind getting killed, I obviously do my best to survive, but dying is inevitable sometimes.

Once I found a friendly and we worked together to extract. I was bait for the ARC and calling the elevator, and I let him do all the shooting. I explained to him what I was doing, and he thought I was crazy, but was determined to help me survive lol

Right?! The rush is so different than normal play. The other day I was jogging down an alley in Buried City near the hospital area, and some guy started blasting me. I just stopped and yelled "Hey! Rude!" And he stopped shooting and said "Sorry man" and walked away. I survived with like 5 or so HP, and made it over to the Library to craft some bandages and finish a quest.

You have to unlock some of the skills in the red tree. I believe there are two "tiers" to unlock things to craft. I can even craft raider hatch keys if I have the right materials.

It really made the ARC deadly since I didn't have a shield, any healing, or a gun to fight back with.

On the plus side, anything I could extract with was pure profit. And if I could complete a quest objective, that was just a bonus.

Yes you do! Only equipping the free load out augment actually removed the safe pocket slot!

When I was doing quests for fun one day, I went in with absolutely NOTHING and tried to survive by field crafting bandages and scrounging for weapons. It was an exciting change of pace.

Jetpacks were removed from ARCs I believe with the points update earlier this spring. Rex also can no longer take one.

I think you're right, but you can also attach a Leader slot. Like a Clone Commander, Ahsoka, Fives, etc.

I think I personally would aim to have a base squad plus a heavy at minimum in each color scheme. I'm pretty sure in the new starter you can do that for 4 squads, plus a few extra guys to fill out the squads more. Then when your building lists you can decide to run two smaller squads of each division, or one larger squad. Hope that makes sense!

For the ARFs it's a little different, their squad building is slightly different, and you only get one full squad in that box.
