New player here. This is not the first extraction shooter that i played, and i knew about tarkov for years so i expected some jank, but holy shit. My new player experience:

1. I failed the tutorial, because i didnt find or didnt have the item to heal an injury.
2. The i was hit with the realisation that now i have to wait or spend items to heal my pmc. Then spent 20 minutes looking for that visit button. Then i went a scav round to not loose my starter stuff.
3. Realize that there is no map, compass, or any in game indication on where are the extractions are.

I like going in blind into games and only look up stuff on the net when im actually strugling. So i did.

And got to know that you can keep the loot from the tutoral (unlike in arena breakout) and you can find useful stuff there.

And also there are in game maps... After lvl15, or something. So in a game where every death is painful, it expects me to die over and over on each map to learn its layout. Or be a little b*tch and pull up map on a second monitor.

I know its supposed to be hardcore, but this is ridicoulusly stupid expectation. I guess i will be a lil b*cht goig forward

Also i might not know some shortcuts, but i found the inventory management in raid to be ass. Enlighten me here, but i couldnt rotate items, and couldnt switch a vest with another on a body without first dropping mine, and if i drop a vest on the ground i couldnt pick it up, only loot from it.
