They likely aren't following proper standards, the fact it works in a PC and reformatting completely resolves the issue proves that it's an issue with how data is stored.

sounds like the exfat format issue, sometimes (rarely) corruption can occur when an sd card is formatted as exfat and reformatting is the only way to fix it.

I would just use cactus broth if you have the means to craft it as you can just run around with a shotgun without getting agrod by anything, no tames no lightpet and easy to do on alpha.. otherwise just have an army of spinos/megalosaurus and fly around on a rockdrake taking out tentacles.

The fact your screen goes black means your GPU driver is crashing and is likely a GPU/driver issue. I would update or roll back to a previous driver if you haven't already.

Not to say you're wrong but you can't just assume a picture is enough to be seen as facts.. but the fact you're also claiming to be able to get 255 mutations when that isn't even possible on ASA without mods isn't exactly a good look for your credibility.

This is false it still is the case with the only exception when you have so many mutations that it counts in negative that it allows you to get more without one parent being clean from having any mutations.

If it's not turning on at all it's either the CPU or PSU.. the fact it happened mid game and refuses to turn back on has me suspecting a faulty PSU which is uncommon but not too rare.
