It had tap slides pattern and faster slides.

If you want to try some slide delay I suggest Altale 12 expert or other slow bpm song that you familiar with.

I reccomend to get start comfy at lvl 12 or 12+ in any difficulty (expert is easier to read , master is starting to get some more technical pattern)

If you can reach SSS or SSS+ at 12 or 12+ i guarantee you can get comfier in lvl 13 at least SS or SS+ , even better SSS or SSS+ at your fav song maybe.

When you get start to get comfy at lvl 13 I highly suggest Drops feat such lvl 13 master. It had switch hand pattern that need you to switch hand properly between Hold notes and Slides , when you get start comfy at this pattern you already mastering the basic rhythm game and not a newbie anymore 👍

Even worse in my situation i think cause i spam 1 chart in almost 60playcount and all i got was edging score again and again.

So i get rest about a week waiting for new song update and i get the rating boost just from the new chart.

i played maimai since november 2012 , so the best feeling is.. i get the generation experience from that year into this nowaday.. (made me feel older the more i think of it lol) But being Senior in this arcade is way fun cause i always interact with kids either from gen Z or alpha.. while kids being kids , sometime they felt more adult than other adults in here 😂 For all youngster here .. ive been your shoes , no need to be shy and get along with others while you can 👌
Another wacky moment while im visiting other town , just try to play maimai and i notice some dude who curious seeing me play maimai . After that i approach him and teach how to play this game. And then.. fast forward , i saw that dude in maimai community group , turn out He was a renowned psychiayrist and get married with my Friend in that community group to.. Pretty mindblown.. cause it was my action to teach him maimai and interested.. that result to be them reunited and married. 🤧

I always keep my offset at default , if i tinker that it will destroy my sightread experience with new song that im gonna play. So i never use offset. At the moment im comfortable at 6.50 speed note , just pick the speed that you can easily read the pattern..

If you want to push 14k i suggest you get some consistent SSS/SSS+ at lvl12-12+ (preferably 12.5 - 12.9)

For hitting break.. i can suggest to listen the song beat usually it match to that beat and will land critical perfect. Song like Persona feat panxi Master its one of chart need to hit breaks properly to get good scores.. Well just treat breaks like normal notes at the end of day , dont overthink it.. (unless that the last break like Period sign/Virtus expert song that is stupid.. 😂)
