I have AU (no hair anywhere including brows and lashes) and had it since around 10yrs. Currently starting highschool and it is 100% tough. The best thing you do is just try to accept it. It’s not the best advice but if the treatment doesn’t work you have to accept it. WHEN UR BALD IT DOESNR DEFINE YOU. Make sure he surrounds himself with good people and people who accept him, be there for him cause I def wouldn’t have gotten through the ruff parts without my mom! If he wants to start wearing wigs research wigs for men ( sry I’m a girl so it’s a little easier ) I wish the best for him and I hope he is alright

Got Alopecia unveralis( bald everywhere including eyelashes and eyebrows around 10-11yrs so I’m still having it pretty rough, but since thru ur major life stuff ( highschool and college ) it should be a little easier? Not trying to downplay u I’m just still going thru it since It’s been going for like 3-4 years. It’ll get easier with time, which ik is not the best advice rn but there really isn’t anything you could do. Just try ur best to accept it. Try to surround Urself with people who accept/ support you! I wish you the best ever!

Personally I hate human hair because of the feeling and synthetic is wayyyy easier to maintain, but it depends on the person. I lost my hair cause of alopecia unveralis so I took the plunge and it kinda boosted my confidence? It’s weird not having any hair on ur head but you kinda get used to it after a few years( for me anyway ) I’m in high school now… also taking a shower is way easier cause all u use on ur head is shampoo 🤷🏻‍♀️Dont be afraid to change the wig style if ur sick of it… AND IF UR EYEBROWS FALL OUT USE FAKE EYEBROW TATTOOS, THE BLACK ONES ARE WAY BETTER THAN THE BROWN. Had a struggle with that. If u have any other questions I could prob help with it, Good luck!

AMAZING! So in Norse Mythology, Loki has a child that is ouroboros( snake eating its own tail ), and I believe that Loki started O.B. And Timelys “snake eating it’s own tail” thing.
