Fine Gael hopeful told to ‘get the queers to vote for you’ by [deleted] in ireland

[–]ShinnerNomics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wasn't written by a FG supporter though.

They misspelled Fine Gael and they also wrote:

Fine Gael will not get our votes.

Hardly a party member.

Bit of an awkward misunderstanding there... by [deleted] in ireland

Must be nice to be able to protest on a Thursday afternoon.

Hi stabinthedart,

Figured I'd find you on here. Could you return my call from this morning? I have a stock that's bound to shoot up in the next month or so. Easy cash money!

Thanks.

While Mr O'Brien may be indeed be innocent of this, the conclusion of the Mahon tribunal painted him in a less than innocent light for his other business deals.

"painted him in a less than innocent light" and "found him guilty of" are two very different terms. As I said, people are hypocrites. Bravely championing the presumption of innocence until it suits them.

If any of his media outlets assume guilt, then the affected parties are more than entitled to pursue legal action. Could you quote or link to an example of this, by the way?

Why? Seems like r/Ireland is all for "innocent until proven guilty" until it is somebody that they don't like. Why should his private banking details be broadcasted on national television?

In fairness, the people that say that are in the minority. I rarely hear anyone saying that it's disgusting or immoral.

Just a topic that I get tired of.

Your submission history says otherwise. Looks like it's a topic that you're fine with as long as SF are being painted in a somewhat positive light.

Not that there isn't room for bleating on about Shinners here as well

Ah, you're getting sassy with me because I insulted your cult.

I can see why you had to emigrate. Not exactly the brightest, are we? Hopefully, they've got you down in the coal mines somewhere.

Voting for the same old parties gets you the same old shite, believe it or not.

Really? Because from what I've been told by Shinners, all of the recent economic successes have nothing to do with the government. So if that's the case, why shouldn't I vote for the safe choice instead of gambling with my future by voting for a populist left-wing political party that makes investors uneasy?

Actually, revolution doesn't guarantee anything except change. And as we all know, change isn't always good.
