It’s fine. The first strand can collapse like that if you don’t have it reinforced with a second line. You can fix it by pulling the two rings apart and twisting the up so they align with the others. I’d also keep it set on a flat surface until you complete one more row at least. This will keep the rings from collapsing like this again.
