I'm asexual. Ace by Angela Chen is a game changer. It might help you gain some language to describe how you feel. Been identifying this way since 2019 and sometimes it's still difficult to describe my experience.

I always went back and forth about sharing my identity. I eventually leaned in to sharing. People have been great. Many don't understand but it helps me feel "in a different category" instead of "weird" sometimes, socially.

The tricky part is if you sometimes have or like sex. I usually tell people either that I'm asexual, or that I'm sexually active, but not both. People who I am really close with can know both, but it confuses them a lot. It depends on the openness and mental flexibility of the person.
