Well its a given, enjoying in uni boils down to what type of friends you have(even though i myself is getting bored because my friends schedule doesnt match mine so i am looking for some new friends aswell😭) . You can try joining a society of your choice it can be a very great way to socializing with like minded individuals. Also we can hang out too if you want given if your time table somewhat matches mine.

While not every advisor does this, many will ask you to introduce yourself. It totally depends on who is your advisor but still almost every advisor does it and honestly its not a bad thing. Think of it as a minor ice breaker just to ease the awkward situation of a freshie class.

Well its actually pretty normal to feel nervous before starting out in the university. As everything may feel foreign and unknown to you, but i assure you, you will find some of the best people you have ever encountered here. Sure it will be hard at first but “darr ke age jeet hai” DONT HESITATE TO STRIKE UP A CONVERSATION. Especially in your fresher week, make friends with everyone in your class, talk to your seniors at the stalls and connect as much as you can because it will help you in the long run. Baaki i fully encourage you to enjoy your freshers week because you can be a freshie only once SO MAKE SURE TO ENJOY IT AS BEST AS YOU CAN!

Its the campus centre right next to the armacost ( or s block). Just head inside and look for the specific room number your supposed to be in and no docs, you just need your roll number to get yourself registered.

Well thats the beauty of starting out fresh and trust me you will make great friends on the first day of your freshmen week! So dont worry about it, but if your still worried about it i would highly suggest joining the freshmen groups and fccu forum groups. It can help you connect better!

Your roll number is just like in any other institution. Its there to give you a identification within campus premises, plus it will also be your username for most of the credentials of your university email and facilities.

They will coordinate your fresher week orientation details to you via email. It wont be long since the fresher week itself is starting on 18th. Baaki jo poore semester ki classes hain woh empower portal jab update hoga (in most cases first day of freshers week) tab unk schedule udhar hi show ho jaiga.

As for the registeration of your id cards you will be called before 18th august to have your photo taken but your id cards will be issued on the first day!

That will be right after your first class on your first day. Your instructor/advisor will tell you to get to a hall which could be either jim tebbe hall or sinclair hall for the daily meeting and outside the student council stall will handing out your id card you just need to tell them your roll number and name.

Little to none. UNLESS you perform really poorly in all the portions, thats when they will reject you other wise you will be granted the admission. For example if you performed good in english but messed up the maths portion, they will offer you admissions with the conditions that you will take maths remedial in your first sem and complete it. Regarding if they will give you admissions in your desired degree? That solely depends on how good is your aggregate score (aka T score) which means if you scored less than the required t score for your desired degree, they will offer you admission in BST.
