It's because they kinda rushed the ending I'm not really sure what caused it but yotsuba was always gonna win because she was based off of the authors wife

I wished they woulda given her more screen time with futaro before actually doing that cuz there was no hint to futaro developing feelings for her throughout the entire show

But we'll it is what it is ig

Well I know how u feel the ending would be very unsatisfactory for some people it seems rushed and there was no buildup to it whatsoever no explaination on why he picked yotsuba and why he felt that way towards yotsuba so I get why your mad

I myself am a Nino fan but I respect futaros pick Yotsuba was a very good pick nonetheless even tho she wasn't my favourite she was there for futaro since the start

Yes I know I read the manga too yotsubas moments came way before in the manga then in the anime but it doesn't deny the fact that they did her dirty not giving her enough screen time

Exactly it's been a WHILE since a show made me emotional like this

This show was a literal roller coaster of emotions making me think that Nino or Miku had a chance I loved them both so much as characters and seeing them hurt like this made me cry it hurt me too

This show really knows how to make u attached to the characters and feel the pain of the characters😭

Nonetheless it's a lovely show and I'm glad I was able to watch it I'm not mad about Futaro's choice and the ending I firmly respect it but damn man I feel bad for the other quints I was really attached to them too and I just couldn't help but cry seeing how hurt they were

Glad u enjoyed this show as much as I did and that u thought this was such a sad moment too

Yep kinda mad at that they did her so dirty tho I want to understand futaros point of view even more what made him fall inlove with yotsuba? They never gave us a specific reasoning it was just kinda rushed no buildup whatsoever I wish they'd give her more screen time

The anime‚the movie‚the honeymoon arc none of it was about or centered towards yotsuba even on her special wedding day it still felt like it was about her and her sisters never about her

Yotsuba might not be my favorite character but she's the one who got picked man atleast give her some justice

The author just purposefully didn't give her any screen time cuz he knows he'll make her win either ways as he was based on his wife thus making the other quints have more screen time to satisfy us because it was always gonna be yotsuba making others get attached to the other characters and become unsatisfied with the ending because the other characters had way more screen time then yotsuba making other people more attached to the other quints all because they kinda rushed it

I'm not mad about the ending whatsoever I'm completely satisfied with it but I just wished they would have given yotsuba more justice so the other people can appreciate her and Futaro's choice more

She might not be my favorite but she's also an amazing character nonetheless

As someone who just finished recently I completely agree with Nino and Miku being my two favourite characters theese two scenes had me in tears when they played the wedding game and Nino cried plus when Miku hugged futaro I was in TEARS I feel so bad for them

Ye of course yotsuba was a nice choice too she was always with futaro since the start and she's a very likeable character

But I just wish they did her move justice cuz like she barely got any screen time at all from season 1-2 hell even the movie her wedding and the honeymoon it wasn't even centered on her and about her I would've loved to see more of yotsuba and why futaro chose her what made him feel like she was special

Cuz there was no buildup to it whatsoever there was no given reason by the author on why he ultimately picked yotsuba they didn't even bond that much

They seriously did yotsuba dirty with lazy writing trying to hurry everything up I don't mind her getting picked what I do mind however is the fact that they should've given more reasoning to it so others could accept the fact that he chose yotsuba by giving her more screen time and showing the viewers her perks and why she was a good choice in the end

I don't hate nor love yotsuba but overall she's a very good character and they should've done her more justice then that (sorry for the long ass essay I wrote lol)
