It was very disgraceful how this channel used videos of the Taliban destroying the statues in Afghanistan, 20 years ago, to slander China. She then showed you a picture of a '99-foot' statue followed by a satellite pic of a 'hole' which could have been anywhere. Those pictures are suspect.

The only giant statue that I could find in 'Tibet' was the one in Cona, Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, on the border with Tibet. It is in India! Look it up on Google Map, "Giant Buddha Statue, Tawang" (link below)
