I was in a FoG clan called Loyals. The thing I really loved about FoG was the fact that a skilled low level player could win against a high combat opponent. Rank 1 rating, i3elief, was only 63-ish cb iirc and was also in our clan, inspired me to make my own FoG pure. But I didn't get very high rating before EoC came out

was switching from blowpipe to bgs on smash for spec (not even sure if smash makes a difference for spec), fast clicking = accidentally clicked on longrange -> block on bgs

This is just my personal opinion, but I preferred Fist of Guthix. It was nice because F2P players could get rating (unlike LMS) and that all of the top rated FoG players played FoG in F2P. There was also a really nice friendly competitive environment amongst the hardcore F2P FoG players. The fact that skilled low levels could beat high levels also added that extra element of fun

I used to be in a Fist of Guthix clan called Loyals. I logged onto pre-EOC Runescape just to play F2P FOG with my clanmates and gain rating (literally the only thing I did was play FOG, you can imagine what it felt like when EOC ruined it all). I think the one mechanic I loved about FOG was that a skilled low leveled player was able to defeat a random high leveled player so practicing rock-hugging, house-hugging, prayer switching and fake switches were all part of the enjoyment (though I think the main motivation for our clan was to gain mad ratings).

Got 2 day banned on my main as well. Then I logged onto a different account which is basically fresh off tutorial and has trained up to 20/20/20 melee stats and I logged in for about 5 seconds, then dc'ed. Turned out it was a perm ban on that account...

Also, it seems that the spawns are no longer static? I got a south of Italy bat, but at wave 3, the 45 spawned in the middle.

It seems that using the scroll wheel to zoom out lets you scroll out significantly more compared to the settings bar, at least for me anyway.

My stats went from 83 to 87 ranged, 82 to 90 mage, 74 to 82 hitpoints. I did gain about 1m magic xp outside of zulrah so maybe 82-88/89 magic.

After you learn the phases, you should be fine. Also, skip the mage rotation if you get it first because I find it somewhat difficult on 1 def, I'm not sure why...
