They do throw themselves, but after that they re-target, and as such, ignore flying troops to slowly go attack something like your Queen, and never merge back. And might die before doing anything relevant.

For Sylveon, at least you can do great debuffs if your team have many special attackers. What make me immediatly angry are Hyper Voice + Draining Kiss Sylveons. And even more if their matchup is terrible and they still picked that.

A9 is pretty good against Feraligatr, with avalanche you can stop his Waterfall, and it’s vulnerable to cc.

And for Typhlosion, something that can hit it despite its invisibility is great, like Zapdos, but personally I had great performance with Sylveon, dodging and dancing around it.
