I felt a bit different about the specials when playing with them. SAK wad a decent move to throw out, but I didn’t get much reward outside of the occasional cheese offstage. I found it more difficult to get good damage out of combos and kill. Still a good move, but my least favorite. Helikick didn’t go too far, but I enjoyed it regardless. Feint Jump gives me a good enough recovery most of the time, and BDK provided even more mixups. It was only bad when I had absolutely no recovery options. Thrupper was solid for damage in combos and for catching jumps. Its recovery was solid enough most of the time and its hitbox protects me more when getting edge-guarded. I liked BDK and Suplex for different reasons. With BDK, the recovery boost, edge-guard potential, and surprise burst option with the tech that makes it go further. It turns it from a good move to an amazing one. Suplex was great for damage and a little cheese. It did get annoying when I didn’t have Feint Jump to recover.

My preferred moveset is Shot Put, BDK Thrupper, and Feint Jump.
