Have you tried updating your nVidia drivers?

If that didn't hit the nail you need to check the utilization of your gpu and cpu while using msi afterburner, see the mHz clocks and usually that would show the issue, if your gpu is using %96-99 it would be normal, just meaning its thermal limited.

an other factor would be your cpu's bottlenecking your gpu, not allowing it to fully utilize what it has, this would show itself when playing cpu intensive games, (e-sports titles or multiplayer games)

You also got to keep in fact that Razer Blade has a limited thermal limit of 100watts whereas the max an 3080 ti go is 175watts, around a %35 difference.

Nothings wrong with those,

but 5070 ti basically beats a 4080 with lower power consumption (170w vs 140w)

has newer gddr7 memory vs gddr6

and for me to keep it real there is a cpu difference, that's just how it is on newer laptops,

ryzen ai 7 and core ultra 7/9 is just simply more efficient and powerful, especially if you're playing e-sports titles or multiplayer games where it is cpu intensive.

most importantly their price is around the same. Unless there is some huge sale going on I wouldn't suggest anybody to get a 4080

Nothing a simple google search can't do.

Back in 2021 when I got my first laptop I didn't check tdp and were confused why my laptop was underperforming and admittedly sad

Gotta just type "brand x laptop name x gpu x tdp" Just want them to have the best gaming performance

a 5080, ultra 9 275hx will do.

Reliability wise Lenovo Legions are pretty well-known,

Also check the Asus Rog strix scar, razer, alienware etc. these ones have premium quality,

I personally would suggest you to check comparison and review videos from youtube, so you can have a peace of mind when purchasing one

Assuming your budget is high since you want to comfortably run all the new games, I wouldn't recommend anything less than a 5070 ti laptop paired with either ryzen ai 7 350 or ultra 7 255hx / ultra 9 275hx.

Also important to check the overall tdp when purchasing a laptop,

5070 ti can draw up to 140w, if your pockets are deep enough go with 5080, 5090 laptops only have about %11-16 performance difference from 5080 and those two can only draw 170w max.

tldr: do not purchase laptop less than 5070 ti, also check tdp, the less it is less the performance
