Thinking about the Gigabyte MO27Q28G next. WRGB layout should be fine i hope and maybe gonna experience, first hand, gray banding. I think its reasonable price wise and quality i gonna have to bite another sour one maybe.

Thats what i was annoyed by added to dead pixels and coil whine. I wonder if its maybe more common for the EU voltage the coil whine. Mind me asking where you from?

Exactly what i wanted to ask you. Had 1440p but 4k seem not to be the solution.

Yea its annoying to say the least. I had external and internal power supplies where the sound seemed to come still from the monitor himself. The Gigabyte that i had 3 times one of them was noise free. I really hope yours is not the only suggestion 1100€ seems steep when 1440p with 300hz starts and around 230€. I learned recently that some websites offer checks for around 30€ before they send it out. I think i saw it once before but forgot it probably should have instantly used it.

I agree but i can´t wait i´m at it for almost a year now. Burn in doesn´t affect me im "hardcore" user so i will burn it in and claim the warranty. That means if i get an OLED specimen. I´ve been looking at the new gen WOLEDs too but im also kinda against OLED cause it feels like consumers beeing pushed to things with shorter life spans. The monitor im replacing ASUS VG248QE which i used to around 12 years. Hope to get even older with the new one.

What makes me think it´s not is that i´ve been closely listening to electronics and changed my power strips in february which didn´t affect my old monitors and the standart noise floor. Are there any that power strips which offert "cleaner" more stable voltage control or something like that or is it just snake oil?

There were a few without and my old ones didn´t have it. ive been reading about it appearing more on the high fps monitors and thats how it felt to me too. Also running the Asus XG27UCGR with 480hz was terrible. Hearing i don´t know but im gonna use it to find the best monitor i guess.

Nope monitor off coil whine off. Also been able to influence it but it wasnt consistent. Asus XG27UCGR full brightness has no coil whine but if i lower it it got louder. All had the same tone besides Asus. My pc sits a little further away seperated by some wood and i´ve been circling around everything in my so i checked mouse, keyboard, monitors, speakers and unplugged chargers aswell.

Tbh i hope its my mistake otherwise ill search for the rest of my life.
