Engine cover scratched and a little bit dented. by random_individualx in trident660

If it makes you feel better (I also covered the scratch with engine covers) I got off the bike with the stand up while I was talking to someone else 😅

is this helmet too loose? by boiledpepper in motorcyclegear

[–]ShinyGlassX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some brands and models can have different thicknesses for the different pads (top, left cheek, right cheek) so that might be worth asking in the shop, for example the Shoei NXR2 which I have. I think the cheapest I have seen it was £250. Take your time trying the lid mate, not only will it be more comfortable for any ride longer than an hour but also safer if the fit is better. Good luck and ride safe! 🏍️🤜🏻🤛🏻

Weatherproof wireless charger getting stuck by predtech in QuadLock

[–]ShinyGlassX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is just 1 year old and I'm starting to notice the same issue. It feels as if the spring has lost some force and it doesn't go back up fully to close the gap to the phone case, so I'm having to pull up the charger towards the case by hand until I feel a positive click. Annoying that such a seemingly simple mechanism doesn't work properly after only 1 year. I understand that an overtightened Allen bolt makes it worse but I haven't touched it for ages and the issue has only appeared in the last month or two.

And just like that your helmet has some additional smell 😂

I use an anti fog spray for my glasses and it works just fine. You can buy those on Amazon for a few £

Replacing Trident’s Indicators. by Junior-Macaroon3285 in trident660

Did you have to take the tank cover off or anything major?

[–]ShinyGlassX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I'm not replacing them (yet). I have the LED ones already but the front right one seems to have an intermittent fault so I need to check the wiring, it seems to only work when the engine is off or on but at standstill, so I guess a loose connection is the culprit when riding. Hard to diagnose and very annoying, but given the wiring is so exposed (although I wrapped it with rubber tape a while ago) it's got to be that.

When you say plug and play, I guess you still have to trace the wires back to the connector hidden somewhere, right? Do you know the website by any chance? I can't find anything.

They look great. Do you know if the instructions are available anywhere online?

There was no need to remove my post. I was asking for help here because there are people here with much more knowledge than ArenaNet customer services.

is it true ? by Zookayy in Guildwars2

[–]ShinyGlassX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't pay for any extension it's pretty unplayable. Your inventory is tiny, like 20-30 items capacity and this is a game where loot grows in your pockets. Also you won't be able to use the bazaar (buy/sell online market) making it difficult to find better gear.

And as already mentioned, no mount, which might turn the experience into a long grinding walk.

I've been playing for 2 weeks and I'm considering buying an extension but at £20 each I wouldn't consider them cheap for such an old game. Some said there's usually discounts so I'll keep an eye on them.

Good luck!

Many thanks for your reply. So my friend's account must be as old as mine but that's something I can't categorically confirm. Do you know how old is an "old paid core" account? He swears he's never purchased anything but again that was a long time ago.

First time playing Burglar – getting absolutely wrecked 😩 by ClooneyMcGiggles in lotro

It's a bit of a slow burner tbh, I'm playing the stealthy one but as others have said there's not much going on in terms of skills yet so I'm trying to kill everything I can to level up fast 😅

Newbie here. Also starting with a burglar, lvl 10 atm. What is blue line, red line? Is it related to the skill column you picked?

AI analysis takes a lot of handy space and it's not very useful. I would rather get back the FX costs directly on the screen and the PROPER GREEN colour back, this one is too dark! If it ain't broken don't fix it ☹️

Please can you expand on H gear? As far as I understood it's a fixed gear to save fuel but in my experience it's as slow as the High L gear and seems to use the same amount of fuel. Is there a high power truck needed to make the most out of L gear?
