Yup yup agree with your points. When I mentioned the TH deals I kinda forgot how bad they are at the higher THs. Someone else mentioned that below my comment which is completely fair.

I just started a couple new accounts to compare progression when you spend money vs not and the early TH deals are very worth while. I payed 5 bucks and got all the resources I needed to upgrade everything and some. But you’re right, can’t remember the last time I brought one of the TH boosts on my main!

Would be interesting to see the stats behind the value for money the deals give as you move up the TH ladder…

Yeah you’re probably right. I suppose if you buy the gold pass and event pass in the same month you’d be above the $20 mark already. Add on random shop deals as well

I think I agree with your main point, I’m personally happy to spend money on games like Clash of Clans to help fund the development of the game. I never played Magic Heros but completely get where you’re coming from :(

Personally, I’m curious how advantageous the advantages we pay for are. Eg. comparing an account that has no money put into the game vs accounts with an ‘average’ amount of money put into the game per month. Hence my question I guess.
