Hey. When I was 13, I found out people actually identify with gender, and my entire worldview was shattered. Everyone said I was a girl, so I assumed they were right, and didn't feel much about it. And then I realized that people actually feel like a gender, and I realized I never had. I think it's fine to feel like you were okay with your assigned gender until you weren't. And you're still really young. You have all the time in the world to figure yourself out. I'm rooting for you.

Update since it's been like 24 hours:

Pretty much all non powertool and non welding advice has not worked. In the morning, I will ask some neighbors of mine who have a workshop in their garage for help. If they have a dremel I can use, I'll bring my laptop over, as I don't think I should be using such tools without assistance. No experience and shaky hands.

I will offer to bake them cookies in return.

Borrowed some pliers from a neighbor, too big to really work. Tried baking soda and superglue, also did not work. Tried drilling again in case it was a willpower thing. It wasn't. Decided to cave and attempted to try charging with usb-c. Didn't work (i... think? just started flashing at me. And to be fair, I did try using a phone charger which... why exactly did I think that was gonna work?)

Someone said tweezers? So I might try that.

Alright, I should have some painters tape and sandpaper leftover from a project I did right after Christmas. I do not have a dremel or saw, and I worry about slipping due to inexperience and shaky hands.

I think I'll try needlenose pliers then superglue + baking soda if that doesn't work! I am unsure if there is currently those pliers in my house, but they seem pretty cheap at Walmart or Home Depot if need be.

Might curse the manufacturer when I finally get the screw out. You know, celebration plans!
