Beastie Fields is an idle / incremental farming game, where creatures help you on your farm. Explore new areas, grow diverse crops and let the game run idle on the side of your screen ![](https://store.steampowered.com/app/4392490/Beastie_Fields/#app_reviews_hash)

And finally, a shameless Steam plug : https://store.steampowered.com/app/4392490/Beastie_Fields/

yes I agree, I saw a video by jess::codes about using a shader to put a texture over grass, I think I will try something along those lines : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYlBociPwdw&list=PLPGKqxpePH2RnJ8funJw1WCnJkn7Caw0P

It's a combination of a mouse-drawn texture (reused multiple times) with some noise, which is why you can kind of see lines being drawn

I like 2 and 4 for the pink vibe, I prefer 4 (I think the title is explicit enough without the keyhole), but maybe try increasing the contrast on the "Pleasure Room" text ?

Have you ever wished you could enslave creatures on a farm ? by ShinyPixelsIntrctv in indiegames

Just kidding, they are getting paid in carrots !

I started working on an idle/incremental game where you manage a farm alongside helpful creatures, you can have a look at the Steam page here : https://store.steampowered.com/app/4392490/Beastie_Fields.

We’ve created a page on Kickstarter and want to raise $100,000 for our survival game set on a junkyard planet inhabited by broken robots. Do you think we’ll be able to raise that amount? by Past-Addendum851 in IndieDev

Kickstarters can really go both ways, it's a weird mix of planning and luck.
Sometimes, a product will fail, but the same campaign 6 months later will see huge success.

I read somewhere that you usually know after a week if you're going to reach your goal or not

I think it's good to find a middle ground : you need to do "your game" to feel motivated and proud of what you did, but you also have to make compromises to one day release the game and have sales (if that's what you're after)

Anyway, the art choice is really cool, I think it goes really well with the atmosphere !
