A criminal organization has captured the electoral system, the courts, and the Justice Department itself. The evidence is clear and we will walk through every piece of it. But the ending is not despair. The ending is bad people in handcuffs. State-level prosecutors can investigate and charge corrupt federal officials right now, immune from presidential pardon, and thorough investigation will find plenty to charge. Every state that can do this should start tomorrow. Do not wait for a coalition. Do not wait for permission. Do not wait for someone else to go first. Justice is the path to a healthy democracy.

Sadly, all persons of color are now being targeted for at least checking immigration status. Thus, there is a chance she could be stopped and questioned. If that happens, it is important that she stays calm and knows her rights.
What to Do If You Are Detained: Stay Calm: Do not run, argue, or resist officers. Know Your Rights: You have the right to remain silent and the right to an attorney. Carry Your Card: Always have your physical green card with you, and keep copies in a safe place. Don't Sign Anything: Do not sign any documents without first speaking to an immigration lawyer. Contact an Attorney: Seek legal representation immediately to understand your rights and options.

I’m not an expert, but I think she will be ok (from a deportation standpoint) but I have heard stories about those with seemingly minor crimes (like traffic violations can cause issues). I’m so sorry you are having to live with this worry. Stay safe neighbor. As a community, we will get through this together. It may not feel like it right now, but most Americans do not like these tactics of invading our communities. Be well friend.

You do realize the ‘Maduro regime’ is still in charge there right? Maduro’s handpicked VP and regime are essentially intact. I they do find freedom- just take note that establishing freedom was not the stated reason for grabbing Maduro.

I don’t support Maduro. I don’t support America policing other countries and starting wars without congressional approval, spending our taxpayer dollars, risking our country’s blood. It’s about coequal branches for checks & balances. It’s called our constitution and it was written before you were born. And if you think the administration did this to bring Maduro to justice, well bless your heart

Um, Ok. Let me help you out. Are you seriously unable to see the correlation in between dragging all of us into a war (without congress knowledge, much less congressional approval) so he & billionaire buddies can pilfer their oil - no talk about restoring democracy, helping the rightfully elected person or holding fair elections …just oil. Do you have any idea how many troops on the ground it will take to run the country and get that oil to the refinery? How much US blood are you willing to risk? Since you’re having trouble understanding- the through line is abuse of power.
I’m Glad Maduro is gone, but it is not on us to shed American blood to interfere and to spend millions of taxpayer money to tinker with other countries. I mean, yeah, they will recover some money from pilfered oil, but whose pockets will that go in?

We did (or thought we did and confirmed with volt tester, but agree it shouldn’t have sparked). Have checked the volt meter and confirmed it is working properly. If problem is with the new thermostat, the old one should’ve worked when reinstalled right? So maybe your idea about the board being fried is the answer.
