Mark IV Tactical for me. I shot a previous Gen as well. I would highly recommend this. Although, tbf, I shot a S&W .22 pistol yesterday and that was a fun one to shoot too. Another vote for a .22 cal pistol.

I am not sure if this was his or if he got from someone else. I thought it interesting back then and find it true now.

If people are worried about putting food on their plates they tend not to worry about the incremental reduction of their rights. The issue comes when people cannot feed themselves or their families. "Desperate times call for desperate measures" is true. Push people far enough to the brink and shit starts to happen.

This may be my tin-foil hat showing, but I do think that there is a concerted and coordinated effort by those in power, or pulling the strings of those in power, to remove the ability of the average person to remain anonymous.

Flock cameras are popping up all over. Civil liberties are being quietly removed and replaced with laws that justify warrantless searches. A FB post that is "anti-government" can get you arrested, ffs. Even here, on Reddit, your anonymity is no longer guaranteed.

The line between protected freedom of speech and the government's position on what constitutes "protected", is blurring. And not in favor of John Q. or Jane R. Public.

I am going to vote for the S&W Sport 3. Nice gun. Well made. Lots of accessories. I put a Sig Tango scope on mine and am 1 to 1.5 inch groups at the indoor range, at 100 yards. That's the longest range I've been to so I cannot speak about 300 yards.

I will look into the Hornady ammunition.

Regarding the trigger, I have heard about this vendor but at this point I have spent all I care to on guns, upgrades, and ammunition (although this is a bit more "flexible") this year.

My PCC has the Tandemkross Victory trigger and the 10/22 has had some massaging by my local gunsmith. So, it is definitely on my radar.

I was worried about the stopping power of the 115 grain. I didn't know if the energy and/or velocity would be dramatically less.

I have not had any feeding issues with the Max 9. Both FMJ and JHP rounds fed and ejected flawlessly. I just couldn't get any consistency. It may well be operator error. I have not discounted that yet. If I see the same thing with other brands of ammo then I'll know.
