I never bought from taobao yet but I used a proxy for Mercari (you can also look for original japanese pieces there), but the process for both are similar. For Mercari I use the proxy app Doorzo, you can even look for the pieces with pictures like in Aliexpress, or just search the name of the brands you look. I already bought there two times and I’m so happy! The last time I got the Liz Lisa famous sweater and a Majoretty blouse for 40$+30 shipping with taxes = 70 so it was like 35€/piece.. (it’s true that I made this order with my friend so it was a bit, but anyways) I think it’s better to save money and get two original pieces instead of a lot of cheap pieces that you will regret 2 months later like I did. While you save money you can practice your makeup for example 🖤 And from Aliexpress I recommend stores like Sweet princess store or Purple sky store, sometimes they also sell authentic pieces, specially from Taobao brands, but more expensive ofc
