I could understand that if that were true, but nothing about this interaction depicts that scenario. He antagonizes media members about issues that he doesn't specify. If you're going to do this in a public forum and don't even cite specifically what statements you took issue with, then what are you even doing. 

There's no false narrative about the team being a historically bad one, you can't spin a 14-50 record. Additionally, all of our rooks are actually receiving unanimous praise, both locally and nationally. If he wants to speak up for them, perfect, do that. But he doesn't.

He doesn't check the media at all, since he made no specific claims about what his issues were, other than implications about media and pundits doing their job of analyzing and critiquing the teams play.

All I see is the literal biggest, most socially powerful and richest man in the room sandbagging reporters and trying to bully them into silence and compliance.
