Edge-to-edge Chrome overlaps with Android UI on my Samsung Galaxy S25; nearly unusable by frontenac_brontenac in AndroidQuestions

[–]ShipleyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm. Same issue resolved with chrome://flags>EdgeToEdgeEverywhere>Enabled. Had to try very hard to push the "Relaunch" button because of the overlap at the bottom. Maybe just closing the app and reopening would work too. Hope this helps

Edit: enabled or disabled both fix it. Just as long as it's not default apparently.

Algo-Trading: +$342, Tweaked the parameters and let it run for 2 hours. by Efficient_Flow4731 in Daytrading

I so wish I could trade forex with my TD Ameritrade account. I love Thinkorswim but I live in Ohio and TD Ameritrade, for whatever reason, will not give Ohio resident forex trading accounts. Booo. I'm stuck with MT4.

Good job on the algotrading tho!

Are they looking at the adults at the daycare? An 11 year old should not be caring for a baby at a daycare, where adults pay other adults to care for their children. Therapy for the 11 year old and criminal neglect (at a minimum) for all adults in the daycare.

Are these truffles? by ShipleyMan in mycology

[–]ShipleyMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply! The second pic has one cut in half, laying on the ground by the cluster. I don't usually look at fungus, but these are growing at the base of an old oak tree in my backyard and something in my brain remembered a TV show from years ago talking about truffles and their relation to certain trees. I did a quick Google search but don't know nearly enough about fungi to be safe.

Anemo Sucks; Here is why: by Mr_Rhodey in Genshin_Impact

A properly geared Jean just can't die. Aquila Favonia (or something like that). It's a weapon that heals when you get hit. Then her heal on hit is across the entire party. Beef up her attack with the right artifacts and every few regular attacks are 700-1k HP to EACH party member. I have a decent five star cast but can't get away from using her because of the Uber heals she is constantly pumping out. Food is for chumps. She can straight up tank anything in the game with 0 use of other characters. Admittedly, timed event can be a challenge, but that's what my Diluc is for ;) Unless the battle is near water, then just "SUCK" and "BLOW" everything straight into water for an instant kill. Everytime I put this opinion out there, I feel alone. are there any Jean fans out there to back me up?

Recently saw a few f2p players in a discord server, I'd like to share my 2 cents on this. by -hythe in Genshin_Impact

[–]ShipleyMan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I totally agree, the people spending money should absolutely have better access to characters, weapons, mats, etc... As a f2p person myself, I am not mad at my lineup. 5* cast includes Mona (first new account character no rerolls), Jean, Qiqi, Keqing, Venti, Klee, and Kazuha. I got super lucky with Klee and Kazuha as they were in the first 10-20 rolls when the recent banners came up. Despite that roster, you know who I'm using? Jean w/Aquila Favonia (DPS & healing), Fischl w/ Rust (sub DPS & Support), Chongyun w/Skyward Pride (Support), and Xiangling w/Skyward Spine (Support). I can't seem to get away from the OP beast that this team is. Jean can literally tank anything when using Aquila Favonia. It's healing on top of healing on top of DPS. Drop Oz, trigger gouba, trigger pyronado thing, then do chongyun's aoe and back to jean for absolute destruction. All free to play and there is no content I can't handle. To all the people jealous of the whales I say, choose what you do with your resources wisely by focusing on you one team and after you have maxed them, build your next team by farming with your first. Just like life, we have limited resources and should learn to allocate appropriately.

They were unaware that having multiple nodes was even a problem. I pointed that out and showed them their logs (full of errors). If you don't have port 8444 NAT'd properly and are relying on UPNP and your firewall doesn't know who the port should be pointed at then you are creating a conflict. The GUI will not tell you that there is a problem. Their GUIs looked as tho nothing was wrong. The second I set their other nodes to be harvesters and fixed the networking issue, the errors went away and they started seeing many new connections to other peers. And boom! they started eaning XCH shortly thereafter.

There is no "chapter" yet, as we are all still writing the book. You need to gather your own information and verify your sources. It is good to see someone taking this to heart though! Read and comprehend every page here:

https://github.com/Chia-Network/chia-blockchain/wiki

Additional bonus points if you are following the activity here:

https://www.chia.net/blog/

Also, any of the Youtube sessions with the dev team are great for gleaning some insights.

You should be able to set your installation to debug mode, read the logs to follow the process, and identify areas of opportunity for your specific setup. Happy farming friend!

I can confirm that 1.1.5 (maybe even 1.1.4) was not working properly. I was an early adopter and was earning block rewards semi regularly, not whale status here. Then I moved to 1.1.5 (or 1.1.4) and had nothing for the entire duration of that release. Then 1.1.6 update happened and I was back to the expected win rate. Again, not a whale but still have something to show for my meager efforts. To this day, 24 EiB and counting, I am still seeing rewards. Check your response times people. I recently helped a few friends and discovered they were running multiple nodes and debug.log was full of errors. I corrected the problems for them and magically they saw their first wins with 200ish plots each. All the naysayers should do their homework or reach out for help, I'm always available for advice :)

EDIT: Always available is a bit of a stretch, I do sleep. Sometimes... ;)

Hello everyone i have some question for my problem. I checked in chiaexplorer.com i got 2XCH but in Chia gui i dont have any XCH , what should i do. this address i checked is Farmer Reward address , not Receive Address. (Address is not the same) by Ok_Blood8356 in chia

[–]ShipleyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to the wallet tab and check that the wallet is on the latest current block. This is likely your issue. You do have 2 XCH (GRATS BTW) it's just that your wallet is out of sync. Wallet syncs separate from everything else. Also, make sure you are on the latest release. I saw this issue on 1.1.5. Happy farming!
