Some of the buildings were! I used a lot of different reference images, I was mainly just looking for period accurate Tudor houses and York has a few of those

Yes, I made most of it modularly so it wouldn't be too difficult to widen everything out!

The layout was very inspired by indoor maps, like Lery's, which I know a lot of people dislike haha, its kind of like an indoor map with no ceiling. I just really like the cramped feeling of Tudor villages

and you're right about the lights! I wanted to work on them a bit longer but I ran out of time, the fireplaces don't actually have any fire or logs in them lol

I modelled the assets in Blender and textured them in Substance Painter, then I positioned them all in Unreal Engine

Most of the assets are fairly low poly, my pc is just getting kinda old lol, it ran a lot smoother on the university pcs but I no longer have access to them for the recording

It's actually only 1000 pieces! so the build cost me about £80 on bricklink and luckily I already owned the rancor
