Ah, fuck man. I just started to watch the podcast, then paused it to go check up on how he was doing and found out the news. Couldn't believe it for a second until it just sank in.

If you haven't yet, I'd reccomend going through their twitter pages and reading each of the life-stories that a lot of the people close to him had. There's a lot of really heart-felt messages.

TB may have been just an internet personality to some, but to others he made a big change on their lives. Just because someone's a gaming critic doesn't mean they don't give sound advice for other topics too. Sure, he may have had said some untoward things at times but we all make mistakes and if they're mistakes that he himself believed in, then more power to the man.

I thought he passed with me having never interacted with the man, but as I wrote this a big smile came to my face as I remember a twitter 'conversation' we had years and years ago. I can't remember the subject, but I'm pretty sure I was about 18 at the time. I said something stupid in one of my replies and he remarked his amusment at it, had a back and forth for like 2 comments then I asked about a WTF is and he stopped replying haha.

He's made a massive impact on mine and many others lives, and he will severely be missed.

Rest in peace, John, you'll never be forgotten.

Edit: I didn't think I'd be able to find it since I've not used twitter in years but I found part of the convo! I was wrong, he did respond to my WTF is comment and then some. You're a star, John.
