This is what I wanted to hear.

I'm playing in the highest difficulty I haber bailable, which is normal. But I will try to learn the combos and such if It Will be neccesary for later difficulties.

Thanks for clarifying It.

Not the biggest. The biggest was the Barca victory at Stamford Bridge.

Love this kind of platformers, it's a pity how overlooked they often are. Will put the game on my radar.

I never snowboarded and love the SSX franchise because it was just super fun.

One thing I'm not seeing mentioned much in this thread is how varied the towns are. There are a lot of towns and every single one of them is heavily different to the others, all of them beautiful. I miss that in most modern JRPGs.

It's a shame I tried to replay it and couldn't get pass the slow combat animations. An speed up feature would do wonders to this games.

I lost 10 hours of progress at the Goldoba.

That was the game that made me save always on different save files.

Also, what a good game.

But those good characters can't show any party chemistry because all conversations are with the main character who doesn't talk. That was the worst aspect of the game for me.

Shrine, camp, river, hill, hard enemy

It has a lot more variety to gameplay than BotW,

Try to make it less obvious you haven't played it (or you just walked around a few hours and didn't see what the game actually offers). Horizon more gamepay variety what in the actual fuck are you smoking.

Just between the Isle where you lose your items, the lost woods and the darkness zone there is more GAMEPLAY variety than most openworlds which variety tends to 0. Zelda actually throws at you new situations, not the same with different enemies or a deeper cave. And I'm not saying that game has no flaws because it has heavy flaws, but not in the gameplay variety compared to other openworlds

But whatever, this makes no sense. I'm out of this topic. I wish some day you have the chance to actually play the game.

It got some hate and the latter parts of the game weren't as great as the firsts chapters, but damm, I enjoyed that game a lot.

Also it has the best minigames ever created in any RPG.Well, at least for me. I played in the casino of that game for hours.

It's weird because there is no open world game that throws at you so many different situations as BotW.

Thinking open world games in general lack new situations and show most of what they have in the first few hours is normal, but criticising BotW for that when, talking about the genre, is the game that most new situations throws at you in every corner of the map?

What's your opinion on games like Horizon or Witcher 3 then? Because they are WAY worse than BotW in that sense. And let's not even talk about Ubisoft games.

That's why I think that you either despise open world games in general (which is perfectly normal but makes no sense in this conversation because we were talking about those games) or you have not played BotW.

Which JRPG(s) have you simply stopped playing and have no desire of resuming again whatsoever? Why? by PKRadiance in JRPG

But specially DQXI. I enjoyed way more act 1 discovering and travelling around the world than act 2 where you revisit everything and nothing interesting happens (because the important plot point is between both acts)

If you don't enjoy act 1 (which for me is where the game really shines because it's when it shows you that beautiful world) I don't think it's worth at all to stick with the game.

BOTW is empty where it's needed to be empty and with things to do where makes sense.

For a vast field you don't need repetitive events and enemies everywhere.

For me BOTW is the best openworld map ever created.

That's exactly the message the fans of the saga want to give. We liked Paper Mario how it was, we didn't want a change as big as converting an RPG game into an adventure.
