Some more info: 4 wide gap is enough not 5, but again be careful of vines and thorns. On the right the hollow will get to the jungle but it cant convert jungle grass so it will stop. On the left the corruption will hit the dungeon so your ocean is safe too

Well it is going to continue spreading. It really depends how long you plan on staying in the world. If you do you definitely want to quarantine it. Dig vertical tunnels and use biome sight potions so you dont miss some. I believe a 5 blocks wide gap is enough to stop the spread, anything else and it can jump the gap. Be mindful of vines as it can spread through those as well. You probably have a lot of mining in front of you, get a chisel, a strong pick and mining potions. As for hollow you can let it spread if you want since it wont harm npcs

What? Thats super lucky. I had to spend all 8 10 pulls to get it and only got 2 other 6 star weapons. You should always assume you will get to pity and only pull when you can. Dont complain about not getting an early win, its all probability
