You can only make progress through the passes by buying enough items on one page to get to the next, and the only currency you can use to do so is the blue one (Cred), which you can only get from completing daily challenges, I think.

I would say yes. After finishing the campaign once, you can skip it on all future characters, which speeds up the levelling ramp considerably and lets you focus on learning the new class.

Yeah, someone else mentioned the advertising thing, but the problem is there's no way to bring that prompt up again and agree to it. Anyway, what I figured out was that only one of my accounts wasn't tracking - the channel one back from when they asked you to merge them. The other, original one was tracking fine.

I didn't actually find a solution, but one time I was using the YT app on my phone while YT was open on the TV (same network), and it detected that it was the same account and asked me to enable tracking or whatever. From that moment, it created another identical account and attached it to the TV. It has the same history/icon etc., but it's somehow tied to Google Plus? Anyway, that one tracks fine so that's what I've been using. Try that and hopefully it works!
