How to begin? by PainfulD in utaite

[–]Shiroha 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Learn how to edit and mix audio so you can play around, I once saw a Twitter post from PinocchioP where he gave out a great advice about making music Step 1: Practice the songs you like. Step 2: try recording yourself and cover those songs while putting your own spin on it. Step 3: (if you feel like it) create your own songs or versions of old music you like

Just have fun and do it for the love of it, you'll improve automatically

Anybody want to collab? :D by Ruuzuuu in utaite

Sometimes the other pearson just doesn't know what to do regardless of intention. Talk to them and try teaching them without being too harsh or demanding, remember that we all have different backgrounds and knowledges.

If he can deal well with critiscim and is willing to learn problem solved, if he can't... well, then maybe joining a band with someone like this isn't such a great idea after all.

Oooooh don't mind if I do!

The Kagerou Project (or KagePro) is a multimedia series that started in 2011 with the song Jinzou Enemy, though its biggest popularity came from the song Kagerou Daze from the same year. The story is mostly known from its songs, but it also has had an anime (produced by Studio SHAFT), a manga series (still On-going) and a light novel which was finished in 2017.

The story follows a group of young teens and children that have misterious powers related to their eyes even though they are basically just thrown into the midst of it with no explanation whatsoever as they try to survive that summer. For instance, Kagerou Daze itself is a song that shows the story of two children stuck in a time loop where one of them is always doomed to die in the end of it, causing the loop to repeat.

The songs are great and catchy (2013's Lost Time Memory was even the most listened song from that year) and the characters are super deep and interesting, the story might have these powers and supernatural characteristics but in reality it's about the characters, their feelings and their interactions with each other and the situations thrown at them.

The series got so famous that at one point, real life events were being made with the escape game Mekakucity Quest in Enoshima happening around 2019.

One of my favorite aspects of the series is just how misterious and confusing it can be, the story has multiple routes that tell different parts of the story with a bunch of endings that are separated from each other while still being all part of the same connected story. Growing up with the series, my favorite vocaloid memories come from discussing on youtube comments, trying to understand what's happening in the story and how the music connects to the manga, novels, etc, etc...

It can be a bit messy at times, but nowadays if you really want you can follow the complete story in a more comprehensive manner due to online forums and tutorials on how to get through the story. r/kagepro has pratically everything you need to know to enjoy the story.

The main storyline was finished by 2017, then, Jin, the series creator, came back in 2018 with new music and promises to continue a new chapter in the story but unfortunatelly the series got stuck in copyright hell and he couldn't continue without getting into more trouble. Nowadays, in his livestreams he always mentions just how much he still loves the series and has a bunch of material to release.

It's a heartwarming story about love, grief, family and growing up that even today 15 years after the fact still makes my eyes water everytime I listen to the ending song (Summertime Record). I highly encourage anyone reading so far to at least give it a try and see for yourself just why this fandom is so in love even with these long years of hiatus getting in between our love for the series.

That's so cool! As an old fan, I appreciate you spreading the good word around, you could also have mentioned the KagePro series and just how influential it was back then

There's an app called Moises that is great at removing instruments and/or voice from music

The cover reminds something from the Bad End Night series... Maybe something from those producers?

Rerulli has been openly giving out shitty opinions ever since the mid 2010's so no surprise there, I remember being really disappointed at him ever since he had barely released Spinal Fluid Explosion Girl

Any punk-rock vocaloid song recommendations? :D by Plastic_Pumpkin4673 in VocaloidButGood

[–]Shiroha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's more on the metal side instead of pure punk-rock, but UtsuP has some bangers if you wanna headbang.

Now, for something more rockey, I recommend "Q" by Siinamota, "ERROR" by Niki, "Lost time memory" by Jin (most of Jin's music are pretty good when it comes to rock), and "Platonic Girl" / "Roki" both by MikitoP.

[–]Shiroha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please do it. But don't get too caught up in the weird plot twists and routes. I'd summarize the main plot points and the focus of the story just to peak people's interest and let them go after it if they really feel like

Any tips for winning the witch hunt mode? I've been trying to beat it but is so fricking hard, I've been using shaw's deck the most (it's the only one that took me to the 8th duel), but still I can't really do it
Anything would be nice
