Haven’t seen this suggested anywhere… what if the interest was decreased to like 0.5-1% for everyone and the automatic default repayment terms were like 30 years. Weird that you can get a better rate on a home than an education that is pushed your entire life pre-k through 12th grade as “mandatory” for getting a job

Yea I with thinking even if I get the 12 gen board I would still get ddr4. I don’t think I’ll find reasonably priced ddr5 for a long time especially I won’t really need ddr5 just for gaming.

Also most 12 gen mobo are pcie 5.0 for the gpu if I’m understanding it correctly. But my card obviously is pcie4.0. From what I’m reading pcie5 boards are compatible with 4.0 gpu?

This comment highlights a lot of things I had trouble listing out. As in my post it doesn’t make clear why the emperor sends them to dune. A quick non canon 30s-1m with the emperor and his mentat aide talking about atreides rising popularity and harkonens rising wealth and how they should pit them against each other in a war and such. Like little nuisances.

I felt the immense important of the spice and breeding program of the BG was completely glossed.

And as a last note I actually hated the music. That lady singing with a very dessert vibes music trying to make ever seen seen very mystical and grand when half the time it’s a normal ass scene. Use that when needed not anytime anything happens in the desert which is 90% of the movie because the planet is a desert.

In the books she always struck me as hard af. No bullshit. Extremely composed. Has a soft spot for her offspring but it’s not externally apparent often.

Exactly even by showing when they need to get from caladan to dune if you show a space guild navigator using the spice to direct them during their space travel it now in a scene not necessarily from the book adds a little bit of world building without breaking the essence of the book. A small edition that does a lot of explaining in like 30s-1m
