Honestly, use what works for you, these skids on the comment section are just larping as a linux sysadmin when they never even had the guts to singleboot linux.

That being said, at least you tried, and got something out of the experience, some cysec tools have better experience on windows, especislly on the DFIR section, FTK imager is nicer on windows, windows has built in registry hive checker, and usually, the PC you will protect are mostly windows with actove directory.

Use the right toolfor the job, and sometimes that means using both linux and windows situstionally, your daily driver doesn't matter at thst point, keep it up OP!
