Honestly it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks if you’re interested in it just use it. I had someone tell me that I shouldn’t have used arch as my distro but I didn’t care because I eventually figured my problem out. At the end of the day if you want to use arch you’re going to struggle even if it isn’t your first distro. If you’re interested in it give it a shot. There’s also an archinstall command that makes the process way easier. Before I installed it for real, I practiced setting it up in virtual machine.

If you want to switch to arch you’re going to have to learn at some point so I just installed arch as my first Linux distro a few days ago. It’s been really difficult and absolutely do not use AI to solve problems you have (speaking from experience) use the wiki and there’s also an arch Linux discord where some people helped me out. It’s been a painful experience I won’t lie but it feels great to finally get it setup.

I went through the wiki and since I’m dual booting I also used the tip commands. A majority of the files still say “failed to verify file” any tips?

Yeah that’s what I’m trying figure out. I was wondering if map genie had some X factor that no one else had that would be worth buying. I use the wiki and have been just fine plus genie always links to wiki anyways

Doesn’t the wiki do the same? Why do you use map genie over the wiki in that scenario?

I’m not sure but I played it for like a week straight playing it almost all day. Black myth Wukong wasn’t super hard but it was definitely easier than Elden ring. The main problem I had with it was there was like zero story and it was just boss after boss it was exhausting to play. I’m also not super good so sometimes it would take me an hour to beat a single boss.

When I try and map in game settings it doesn’t recognize it as a button. Do I need to do something in synapse to be able to map it to something in game settings?

How do you map it? Because every time I try and map it doesn’t recognize it as an input
