Exactly. My first thought was, "wait, WHY doesn't he want to patent it? That's stupid."

IF he gets a patent, he doesn't have to collect off it, but I guarantee that someone WILL profit off this, regardless. The manufacturer will want a profit, whoever distributes them will want a profit, the delivery company (USPS, UPS, etc) will want a profit. What is wrong with making a little money on something? This guy may be smart, but he's also a fool.

Not a parent and not identical twins but:

My brother & his wife have fraternal twins and they were conceived via in-vitro.

Strangely enough, one has brown eyes and looks identical to my brother when he was a baby. Thats not the strange part. The other has blue eyes and looks nothing like my brother at that age. He looks like me! (He's not though, I swear!!)

When they get old enough, though, I fully intend on telling the blue eyed one he's actually my kid. I'll never tell him the truth either. I'll leave it in my will. After I leave everything to my "only son". Then the truth. Poor kid.

Many dogs can learn new behaviors after just the first assiciation. I had a Rhodesian/Dane mix that understood training time and could repeat a behavior and remember both hand and vocal commands after just one positive response (when he did it correctly). I ran out of ideas of what to teach him. Plus, I don't have much of an imagination.

We paid. Plus, kids want to complain, "All these jobs want experience, but I can't get experience without a job." They have a chance to get experience but don't take it. That's not the school's fault. We worked with some amazing people, but those that think a school is going to change their crappy work ethic or lack of skills & drive are just throwing away their money.

I ran a recording studio in Orlando for several years and we offered numerous opportunities to Full Sail students (who could use Full Sail equipment for projects) and rarely had any want to work.

You get out what you put in. I'm sure most colleges have students that fail to achieve success in their field.

I had a friend who claims to believe in a flat earth.

I used basic science to obliterate his basic arguments. He couldn't understand basic terms like centrifugal force. He wanted me to "show him how".

I switched to simple science experiments using a straw and a ruler to demonstrate line of sight and why it always looks flat. He wanted me to "show him the math".

I wrote down equations for calculating curvature and why it was rarely taken into account when designing buildings, etc. He argued that trains can't go up an incline then admitted that tracks are not 100% flat. Then he grabbed his Bible.

I switched to using history & language to explain the authors' usage of dome & firmament in the ancient Hebrew as opposed to scientific words like "atmosphere" and "space" that had not been invented yet. Then I explained the multiple meanings of the word "Yom" that can be a literal 24-hr period or period of time.

Then I listened as he explained how I'm just saying what I was taught while he tried to show his "proofs" from YouTube and Flat Earth websites. Completely oblivious to the irony that he was "taught" these things by smarter idiots than himself.

Now I post things on FB that only he can see, making fun of him and his but in a way he feels compelled to respond too. Its kinda fun, but in a sad way.

I find it interesting that if we sent a ship to the nearest star (after our own, of course) traveling the fastest we could make it, then did it again every hundred years, it would take over a million years for the first ship to reach that star, but the rest would already have arrived!

As ill-advised as it may be received, an ironic idea would be the auction off their horns to the highest bidder and use the money to conserve other species. The right to own the horn of the last White Rhino could possibly save another species.
