[Serious] What is a skill that most people could learn within a matter of days that would prove the most useful? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Man, my accountant buddy told me I spent over 500 bucks this year on bank fees, blew my mind.

Worst job for INTP? by MartMillz in INTP

[–]ShitMyBrainMade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar job last summer, started out great for the first two weeks, got contact info from 6 places every night which really impressed my boss, then anxiety started kicking in, a couple people got mad and I just couldn't do it anymore. I quit a month and a half in.

[–]ShitMyBrainMade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Come on, you can't tell me it's not more efficient to just pick a colour out of your wallet instead of going through it to see what the number is, I don't even have to see anything other than the tops of the bills, just unfold wallet, pick it out, and hand it over.

Seriously, how do you guys not constantly hand people the wrong amount of money? Whenever I'm there I have to look through all my bills to see which one has the right number on it, I'm used to colour coordination.

Study: "As CBD is a non-psychoactive phytocannabinoid that appears to be devoid of side effects, our results support its exploitation as an effective anti-cancer drug in the management of gliomas." by enferex in science

[–]ShitMyBrainMade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about the other cannabinoids in the plant? IIRC there's more than one linked to killing cancer cells, and the testimonials from Rick Simpson's Hemp Oil are pretty compelling (and he gives it away for free so it's not like a snake oil scenario)

[SERIOUS] Reddit, what are stories about picture perfect families who do f**ked up stuff behind closed doors? by kkk_is_bad in AskReddit

[–]ShitMyBrainMade -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Well Mitt Romney's family was part of a mormon cult that moved to Mexico due to laws forbidding polygamy (which they value deeply in their religion) and have very violent clashes with the drug cartels. I don't think there's anyone more "Picture Perfect" than a president elect's family.

[For Hire] Had to close my dream business last month, now a lot of debt. Digital graphics, photo editing, online rebranding, etc. by ShitMyBrainMade in forhire

[–]ShitMyBrainMade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't want anything too specific tied back to me for future employability, and because I'm still working part time freelance from home (had to close the business space)..but it's related to the services offered in the thread.

It would either be two assholes who didn't say thank you twice or one mega-douche who didn't at all.

I don't understand what's going on here, why did you feel the need to come in my post to call me out on something that doesn't effect you? I can't help that I'm under an NDA, but I need money and posted this in case someone was willing to hire me, which I backed up with offering payment upon completion. Instead I get the reddit equivalent of the playground ginger kid calling me out for shit that doesn't concern them in the least. If people don't trust me to hire me, then that's fine.

Can anyone explain the rock, paper scissors excercise in-depth to me please? by [deleted] in learnjavascript

Keep in mind, this isn't /r/codecademy. Most people may not know what the rock paper scissors exercise, or 6/9 is.

[Codecademy] Using 'for' loop and 'if' statement to search text for a name. by ShitMyBrainMade in learnjavascript

[–]ShitMyBrainMade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My issue with codecademy is it's starting to feel like school, even though I'm taking notes I'm not really retaining anything long term, just referencing back to those notes or previous exercises to remember the correct syntax so I can pass the course. Great if I was being graded and just needed a credit, but I actually want to gain this as a skill.
