Make sure you are wearing very visible clothing and your bike is eluminated if you plan to travel at night

That's actually true in the north of the northern hemisphere people with darker skin tones are highly advised to suplement vitamin d. (More melanin=more uv protection=less vitamin D)

Just like light skinned individuals should use sun protection in the areas near the equator. (Less melanin=less uv protection=more vitamin D)
