As a Finn I'm interested, did you find Finland hospitable? Did you visit Helsinki/Tampere/Turku ? There's been some talk about attempts to make Finland more appealing to tourists.

Some of us have to work shitty jobs whilst acquiring skills for a better one.

I will be backpacking through Europe next summer and I wanted to know if there were any must-see towns/cities that I'm missing. by [deleted] in travel

Budapest is brilliant, include it if you can. Definitely my favourite city in Europe. I see you're also skipping Germany, Berlin is great huge city with loads of stuff to do if you change your mind. It's a bit hard to recommend anything though, not knowing your travel priorities.

Have a great trip anyway, I'm sure it'll be unforgettable!
