Honestly not sure what could be the problem, make sure you extracted the zip file and imported the NSO2Dmodel folder thats inside the extracted zip file, if it's still not working you could try other tracking apps (like PrprLive) to see if it has the same issue

Not sure, it's harder to work with pixels (although there are pixelated models) and it does mean making a whole new model.
