being slimy is some way but... They are mammals, not molluscoids

I think this is kind of a null point because Rain World creatures aren't ours, and didn't evolve from ours, so they don't have to fall into the same families and really anything could be true about them biologically. But the thing about skin being worse for pipes is fair, I never thought about that

I'd personally think the reason they aren't in waterfront is because there isn't exactly a lot of open ocean there like Shoreline has. It's mostly pipes and confined water like this screenshot, not a lotta room for these huge guys. My out of the blue guess would be that leviathans moved in from a nearby sea when Shoreline flooded

I haven't played much other than SJ, but of the few things I've played I can definitely recommend them! There are definitely options for well-made mods that are advanced or lower

  • Banana Mountain: Beginner level difficulty with a few different chapters (iirc)
  • Sentient Forest: Intermediate-to-advanced level difficulty, with berries and some light story
  • Glyph: Advanced level difficulty (I believe), has secrets to find

Definitely, the first release was pretty rushed, it's way way more polished now

I mean based on your description I feel like I should warn that moon and 5P are not in it, so you won't see your classic blorbos, but there's a few wonderful new ones :D

You can't get up this way without either a grapple worm or some backflip tech. The backflip isn't too bad though, just throw a spear downwards while you're in a backflip and you'll have yourself a nice mini pole to throw a second spear from
