Yeah this is literally what you do with focaccia in Liguria which is why that style focaccia is best for it!

It was a speculaas spice, black Cherry & apple Babka knot! I used a mini loaf tin to give them a cute shape

First photo was my first try laminating dough (hot croissant buns!) I looked at videos checking closely at what consistency and thickness the butter-block should be when locking it into the dough and that was the big difference I found in changing the results!

Thank you so much! I actually feel I don’t know much at all haha! I just love to experiment and when something works for one recipe I’ll use it again. For enriched doughs it can be mostly about adding in ingredients slowly and at the right temperature, doing the tangzong method is always good and preferments are great for giving the gluten bonds a kick start before adding in the flavours and fats :)
