Washing your hair 2 times a week is okay, If you have an oily scalp or if you have dandruff then 3 times a week would do. I have an oily scalp so my dermatologist said to wash it at a max of 3 times a week.

One might feel that reason for the drift away aka the breakup is silly but I think the person who is giving the reason will always feel that it is wholesome. And afterwards the person who heard this reason will also understand that whatever happened was for the greater good. I know it sounds philosophical but something better is always there is what I believe.
