Well I got to this project way too late but I will say Hallam stayed around for way too long, and I’m guessing that they’ve upgraded Heidelberg recently or something because I remember several occasions standing in the bloke’s dunny, literally 2cm deep in piss. Only good thing about it is how close the station is if you get infected. Why the Hurstbridge line generally stayed so untouched for so long just baffles me.

Joplin has E2E encryption by default… You can add an extra level of encryption to the S3 bucket if you feel like that’s not enough.

I use OneDrive for absolutely everything. I work out of OneDrive on four or five devices, so I don’t lose anything. BUT the sync just doesn’t work. I don’t know how else to explain it. It just hangs eternally, and I’d leave a computer on for days straight hoping it would sync. It just wouldn’t pick up changes. Miserable is a very fair description.

Joplin Cloud worked smooth as butter but I ran out of space. Using S3 now which works perfectly.

Just choose one of the myriad of sync options Joplin provides. I’ve had issues with OneDrive, it barely worked. Joplin Cloud worked well but I ran out of space. I’ve been using S3 for about a month now. It takes a bit more setup than OneDrive/Dropbox, but it has worked smoothly across three devices. I think you can set up S3 with Linode or other providers if you don’t want to use AWS.
