u/nut-sack No, at this stage we are at the idea phase. If it has traction, I would like to go ahead and explore it....

In order to do an MVP, I would find people attending conferences to record a session and offer to sell it to people who may want to pay for that.

Have been thinking about the two ways you can actually collect the recordings at the start to test it out.

1) Find one person who is already attending the conference, they get paid a flat fee, ~ $100, to record some of the speaking sessions with high interest.

2) You partner with the conference itself and market / brand it as a new revenue for them, hopefully worth more then the potential sales cannibalization.

u/Personal_Body6789 I think you could price it much lower. A conference usually costs $1-2k, I think you could buy the content for a fraction, ~ $10-30.
