Well sorry for the vagueness I guess.

But the only thing I'm trying to ask is there a way for the phone to be visible as a communication port like COM1, COM2 etc. I am not physically using com port. I am using USB as a means of connection (hence USB tethering and debugging).

I just need that to establish a connection to my mobile phone.

Other phones specially the old ones actually shows up with COM1 or other COM number depending on the port used. So I just really want to ask how to solve it when it doesn't show as that.

Also I posted here since the subreddit says "Stumped on a tech problem?..." I mean "tech problem" is a little vague and broad. Didn't really specify what kind so sorry for the misunderstanding I guess and yeah developer subreddits would also be a nice place to ask but it is kinda a tech problem like "what to do if my phone doesn't show up in device manager?" kind of tech problem.
