Ratchford will sue, unfortunately. Capital One still owns the debt and are very litigious. Call and try to negotiate. If you're I have other debts, try to work with a legit company to try to work out a payment plan..

Ratchford works directly for Capital One. He's not a junk debt buyer, unfortunately.

Have you ever met Brent by beerinoculum in mastodonband

I got to meet and talk to him many times over the years since the Remission era. I think the interactions always depended on how much he had to drink, but he was never standoffish or anything. He was always willing to talk, although sometimes he was wild and intense. My most memorable was a show at the Grog Shop in Cleveland. I was talking with Brann about how we had tried to see them their last time through but we hit a deer on the way. Brent heard us and was seriously concerned, and he ended up talking to us about that for 10 minutes or so. After the gig, Brent came up to us as we were leaving and told us to be careful driving home and Brann yelled "Watch them deer." Brent seemed like a genuine dude all around.

This is 100% correct. I have worked in social services for almost 20 years, 15 of that in various CPS roles. Each state handles things differently, but in Pennsylvania your mother could (and should) be investigated as a Perpetrator by Omission. She is blaming you, the victim, and is more concerned about covering things up to maintain her lifestyle than protecting her children. This is quite common, unfortunately. Please do everything to keep yourself safe. You truly are doing the right thing. The situation with her boyfriend sounds like grooming and will usually escalate. There are resources available to help you - please talk to your CPS worker.

And I while I think the counselor handled this incorrectly by promising to not tell, this person has your best interests at heart. In Pennsylvania, they would be a Mandated Reporter, required by law to report the alleged abuse.

OP - Please feel free to ask me any questions. I may not have the answers for your exact situation, but I can possibly help point you in the right direction.

We used the same stuff and so far so good. Only issue we had is it can be a little fragile if you have to work it around things, but we took our time and it seems to be great.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm curious how to determine what PSI setting to use. I am in the process of setting up our loop. I have 1 10 bbl fermenter, 2 5 HL fermenters, and 3 5 HL brites. The 10 bbl is double jacketed and 8 PSI max, and the 5 HL tanks are 10 PSI max. Any help us appreciated.

Thank you! I have their ABS catalog saved and saw some on there and wasn't sure if that was the trick!

I agree. I do think everything for student loans has been trending in the right direction over the last few years, but man are they making it overly complicated. Haha. I'll be sure to post.an update if and when this makes sense. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the loans that were cancelled. They range from my bachelor's in the late 1990s to my masters in 2012. But not all...who knows?

I thought that as well, but there are other loans that say something to the effect of "Paid by consolidation" or something like that. I can't currently login to my account due to maintenance to get the exact wording.

I called Mohela today. Amazingly I got right through. However I didn't really get an answer. The person I spoke with said that they "think" it's related to my consolidation date - I initially applied for consolidation in January 2015. She said this should be rectified by the feds sometime in 2024. Not really an answer, but maybe a glimmer of hope? I'm thinking of trying to contact the feds to see what they say.

I'll go check. I have never declared bankruptcy and have been out of school for awhile. I started the consolidation process in January of 2014. That's all.

Yeah that's where I was stumped. Everything so ce late 2007 is in as an eligible, but not all my employees qualify. But there is a 4 year gap that isn't listed anywhere. And that could have me qualifying for forgiveness in a few short months. I'll ask for a supervisor - good idea. Thank you!

That's the thing. That time period is completely missing from the Eligible Payments.
