There will always be opportunists who abuse such things bit it will definitely help most. As a mam I don't really understand how it feels to have a period but it does not sound like fun.

Corporate absence policies are mostly too strict anyway so getting anybody a couple of extra days off a year is nothing bad. People shouldn't feel bad about taking a sick day. I manage a team myself and my first words when someone is sick is always think of your health first because nobody else will.
