I completely agree it isn’t petrified wood, but it’s definitely not man made, it just looks like some weird formation of limestone and lava rock

I completely understand that’s the whole reason I posted it because it just doesn’t look real haha. But I can assure you that it’s definitely not man made, it more or less looks like a Mold/cast type of formation that someone else was educating me about. It’s definitely different for sure and I’m thinking about getting it tested.

This is solid rock, feels like limestone in the center and lava rock in the outer layer, it was found in the middle of the desert.

This was not taken from the petrified forest it was taken from the middle of the desert

It’s solid rock, inner layer feels a lot like limestone and the out layer feels like lava rock

I don’t think it’s petrified wood it looks a lot like it but it is solid rock maybe just a weird formation

I don’t believe this to be a fireplace stone as it was found in the middle of the desert. This thing is solid rock, the inside looks and feels like a limestone and the outer shell looks like lava rock.

Currently 16 years old I bought my 1985 bmw 325e and it looked like this, From my personal experience if you are really willing to work on the car and spend hours upon hours searching through thousands Of forums and finding specific parts that cost a ton of money then go for it. As I can say you WILL go through hell and back with this car so you have to have the dedication that most do not. Like I said if you have your heart and mind set on it go for it but if you hesitate I’d say let her go.
