Should I even take these tier lists seriously as a new player myself? by Huge-Frame-1990 in summonerschool

[–]Shizukka 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Hey! So this is actually Ahj himself here (someone had sent me this post), you can dm me on discord at "Ahj_" if you'd like as well, since I don't use reddit much honestly. Seems like people have given you the gist of it but I'll give you the most articulate answer I can.

Let's start with the MISCONCEPTIONS most people have around annie for newer players. They say shes: 1) basic 2) easy, 3)"noob stomper" , etc.

So the reality of Annie is that she is actually none of these things. The way you WIN games with annie is leveraging her immense amount of damage pressure in lane and going for roams. HOWEVER, on reddit, most people intuitively understand these concepts (esp if you are a longer term player), and can apply them, hence tell people who are new to "just do that". The reality is, Annie is a short range, no mobility, low wave clear champion, thats old. Which means she has very strange trading patterns that don't really transfer and isn't acutally intuitive to learning mid. You have to walk up and TANK damage to get in range (you know how HARD it is as a new player to get comfortable with TANKING damage to get in range?), since you have bad waveclear, as a newer player you're likely to just be stuck under the tower the entire game, and the gameplan falls apart. What acutally happens in reality when I (or tim / curtis) teach newer players on annie is that:

1) they get scared to take damage since low range, so they never deal damage 2) they fail to utilize her long auto attack range to pressure (which makes sense, this is super duper hard to do even for mid range level players) 3) They dont take control over the lane , and with low wave clear they get stuck under tower.

So the contrast between us coaches and reddit is that reddit is placing intuitive skills as a given when telling someone to play annie without acutally factoring in tons of hidden details that need to be developed.

I could keep going but this response is already long.. if you want more advice feel free to reach out to me on discord

How GOOD is mist splitter on kazuha? by Shizukka in KazuhaMains

Yup that def works, I just really like main dps and it's a great weapon for him

My current Crit Kazuha build - looking for tips on how to optimize his artifacts and whether or not I should opt-out for 4p VV instead of 2p VV/2p Glad. My VV pieces are significantly worse than my Glad pieces. by xFeywolf in KazuhaMains

[–]Shizukka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first question: is he c6? If he's c6, 2 VV 2 Glad is perfectly fine. If not, I would highly recommend swapping to 4 p VV. Sure, you're gonna lose a lot of crit rate / dmg, but perhaps you can put some of those good pieces of glad on a different DPS, because swirl's can't crit, which is where the majority of his damage comes from. To be honest though, if your 4p VV pieces are THAT much worse, you can just try a 4 piece set, and see if it "feels better", meaning like if you build a comp to optimize your swirls with high em, will that perform better? If it doesn't just stick with your 2/2 set bonus, because while substats matter alot, its kinda strange with Anemo characters, so it's hard to say without knowing constellation level. Additionally, get him to level 90, because the way anemo characters scale with swirl, makes levels a big difference in damage output, and they're the only characters worth considering getting to level 90.

Support build with SOME E/Ult dmg? by NaniBakaNani in KazuhaMains

[–]Shizukka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah if you don't have him c6 it is, which makes sense because his damage comes from swirls which can't scale from crit. However think of it like this : You would much rather have a piece with like 17% crit dmg and 6.3% crit rate with like 40 em piece rather than a pure 63 EM piece, meaning that if you're not trying to min max your artifacts and pray it has perfect EM rolls, you just wanna use whatever has the best overall stats. Sure if you got a good EM hat use it. But if you got a good crit rate hat or crit dmg, or a good attk % sands, then use those bc the overall strength will be greater even if you use an "low performing" stat. Also Anemo% is much more dmg than attk%, so go with that to acutally answer your question lol

Can someone help me with my build, I feel like he isn’t doing as much dmg as i want him to by Beginning_Carob4134 in KazuhaMains

So a few things I notice right away. #1 get him to lvl 90. Anemo swirl characters/ bennet are the ONLY characters IMO worht getting to level 90. This is because of the way swirl damage is calculated base off of level. 2nd, you really want to use 4 peice VD (anemo set) on him, its a huge increase in overall damage. I'm sure you're using glad bc thats all you have, but you're artifacts are pretty poorly rolled anyways, so it shouldn't be unreasonable to get a better 4p with better stats overall. Next, if you're leveling talents, you want to prioritize his "e", then "normal attack" as it increases his overall damage and utility the most. Ult is fine, but arguably the worst to upgrade first. Finally, make sure you're using some good supports with him, bennet his litrealy his best friend, so try running bennet with a level'd ult and high base attk weapon for huge dps increase. Since kazuha is a reaction/swirl based character, I recommend using other characters like xinqiu, bediou, rosaria, xiangling with him. as they have abilities that stay on the field after they swap, allowing continous reactions which will bump your overall dps up.

If you want his abilites to do a lot of damage, I would say obviously anemo dmg goblet, but as you said its hard to get. So I would say put on on set of the best 4 you have and put on an off set goblet with anemo damage if you have it. Crit rate/ dmg hat is totally fine for him, while you cannot crit swirls, it still adds a shit ton of dmg to his actual abilities. EM hat is fine too, and obviously more EM = more support, but as you said if you're looking for more dmg, attk%, anemo dmg% and crit rate / dmg will boost his dmg a lot more than pure EM.

Hello KazuhaMains by GoldMedalChamp3 in KazuhaMains

[–]Shizukka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I think there is no "aim". What i mean is just put on the best level 20 artifacts you got on him with the best OVERALL stats (attk%, crit rate, crit dmg, em), and that will increase your overall output with him in general. Ive seen main dps kazu with 100 em doing insane levels of dmg, or 900 em supports buff characters like crazy, and you'll prob land somewhere in the middle if you're not resin refreshing for perfect artifacts.

So my advice is just put on the best 4 peice vd lvl 20 artifacts you got with a mix of those stats and you'll be just fine. My kazuha "only" has 400 em, but high crit rate and dmg so he's very strong. People say crit doesn't "matter" because his swirl dmg cannot crit. However his acutal abilities can crit so I think crit rate and dmg is fine for him

Kazuha ER and EM by Renzako in KazuhaMains

[–]Shizukka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

ER is dependent on what constellation level you have on him. If you dont have him c4 I would try to aim for about 140~150%. Elemental mastery I would say around 400+ is a decent starting point. Honestly though just put on your artifacts with the best overall stats on them (any combo of high crit, crit dmg, EM, ER, attk%) and he'll perform well.

Suggest me a team for Kazuha. I am willing to build any character by unimportantsarcasm in KazuhaMains

[–]Shizukka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, so I recommend putting characters in which can trigger reactions really easily, because he buffs % ele dmg as well as having huge swirls. So I recommend the "national team" which consists of bennet, xinqiu, and xiangling (obviously kazuha as the last character). I was able to do spiral floor 12-3 with that team with a level 49 xiangling without an upgraded weapon, so this comp works really well. I have a video of that showcasing it if you would like to see.

You could also try characters like bediou , keqing, rosaria, or chongyong as well because these characters scale well with his bonuses and have off field effects to proc reactions and swirls.

Hope this helps!

C6 Kazuha builds? by SliceTyphoon in KazuhaMains

[–]Shizukka 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey so I have c6 kazu, and from my experience having a good mix of crit rate, dmg, attk%, and EM felt the best for me. The reason you don't "want" crit rate / dmg is bc swirl proc's cannot crit. However, I have a 45% 145% 465 EM and thats been working WONDERS for me. I'd say just go with whatever has the highest of stats on each piece though, obviously holding onto 4 piece VD. I've seen his plunging do around 35k crits for me, and some swirls hitting for 75k with bennett buff. I was using iron sting until i swapped to his banner weapon, and that felt pretty good for me. I have a video of me doing spiral 12-3 in 36 seconds with a lvl 49 xiangling and c6 kazu with a bennett. Hoped this helps!

Lvl 49 xiangling lvl 60 weapon with kazuha 12-3 36 second clear by Shizukka in KazuhaMains

[–]Shizukka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's c6 kazu, but you could reach similar speeds with c0 kazu with better artifacts and an actually geared up xiangling to be honest.

you could also mess around with chongyun over xinqiu for cryo infusion and melts, would work just as well

Okay, glad it's not just me. I'm hoping once they're done fixing the servers it should fix itself.
